The wildlands of the west are safeguarded by men as fierce and rugged as the mountains.
Protective, duty-bound, and loyal. When they fall, they fall hard.
The romances of the Smoke Canyon Volunteers burn twice as hot as any wildfire, but with these men on watch, the flame will always find a happily ever after.
Smoke Canyon Volunteers is a series of fast-paced short romances about rugged firefighters, beautiful mountain settings, small-town warmth, and happily ever afters. The story never really ends in Slate, CO, but don't worry, each book is a complete standalone romance all its own, with HEA and NO cliffhangers!
If you enjoyed the Lost Mountain Fire & Rescue series, I think you'll really love Smoke Canyon Volunteers
The first three installments are on their way, starting next Friday with Hudson!
And as always ...
It's a standalone military instalove romance for the holiday season, with all the heat you could ask for between an alpha war hero and the curvy charity coordinator he falls for. As always it's a complete standalone romance with HEA and NO CLIFFHANGER.
I've finally managed to get some clarity from Amazon on what's happening with pre-orders. There was a glitch in their system, and as a result all pre-orders for Marshall and A Mountain Veil were cancelled. Unfortunately, they cannot undo this on their end. If you pre-ordered those books, you were notified when your order was cancelled, and should now have received a second email that the issues have been rectified. That does not mean your pre-order has gone through.
You will need to pre-order again to receive your book!
Very, very sorry for this inconvenience, and if I could do anything to change it, believe me I would. Amazon support basically told me this glitch happens and apparently there's nothing anybody can do about it.
I'm hugely appreciative of everybody that pre-ordered these books and am so excited to share them with you, starting with Marshall tomorrow!
Thank you for reading,
Valencia
Good morning! It seems that Amazon's pre-order system is experiencing technical issues. If you pre-ordered Marshall or A Mountain Veil, you may have received a message stating that your order has been cancelled. This is a bug on their end. Those books are still set for release on the announced dates, as are the other books currently available for pre-order that seem unaffected (Give and Take and Cole). At this point I don't have any information on whether those cancellations can be undone or whether you will need to re-submit your order to receive your books. Needless to say this is a frustrating situation and I'm working to get to the bottom of it as quickly as possible!
So sorry about the confusion and thank you for reading!
-Valencia

And as always ...
The Kluwe Family is a series of sweet and steamy romance novellas about sexy mountain men, curvy heroines, beautiful scenery, small-town warmth, and happily ever afters. A Mountain Storm is the first book in the series, but you don't have to read the others to enjoy this standalone romance novella with HEA and NO cliffhangers!
If you enjoyed Lost Mountain Fire & Rescue or like steamy instalove stories about alpha male mountain men and curvy women finding love in a wild Alaska mountain setting, you'll love this series.
All my life I've lived in the rules. I did what I was told. I followed the plan.
My fantasy escape was the mountains. They were a place I could get lost.
I turned my dream into a study, now I want to make it a book. I've got two weeks in Kluwe Pass to figure out whether anything I've done was worth it.
And that's where I find the man who can answer why I'm drawn here.
At first I don't think he'll let me get close.
Then I realize he won't let me go.
I inherited a place in the world most can't even go. I fit my family's mountains like a glove, wild and dangerous in exactly the same ways.
The only thing that doesn't fit is the tourists who want this place tamed for them.
That's why I never saw Summer coming. She's just like the rest of them.
Except she's not like them at all.
A sales trip into the mountains sounded like the perfect paid vacation until my new boss gets us lost and stranded on unfamiliar roads.
Turns out getting lost might be the best thing to happen to me in a long time.
The stranger who stops to help is the sexiest man I've ever seen. I take a chance and dare a kiss by the roadside before he disappears forever.
It was just supposed to be something to remember me by.
I guess the universe had something else in store.
I'm already late for my shift when I see the stranded car, but rescuing people for a living makes for a bit of a habit. I never expected to find the woman of my dreams.
I assume the man she's with is her boyfriend, so I ignore the way she lights every part of me on fire. I'm ready to let her leave.
But then she makes letting her go impossible, right before she tries to get away ...
Lost Mountain Fire & Rescue is a series of sweet and steamy short romances about sexy firefighters, beautiful scenery, small-town warmth, and happily ever afters. Damien is the fourth book in the series, but don't worry, you don't have to read the others to enjoy this standalone romance with HEA and NO cliffhangers!
I'm stuck at a party where I don't know anyone. I hardly expected to enjoy myself, let alone have my life changed forever.
But that's exactly what's happened.
I've barely met him before I'm lost in the way he smiles, the way he looks at me, the way he makes me feel. Clarke is the most incredible, surprising person I've ever met.
And I think I've realized it just in time to lose him.
I've spent years fighting the most dangerous wildland fires in the country, but you can only get caught by your guardian angels so many times. I thought I needed to slow down.
But then I met her.
My first day in this adopted, quiet little town, and suddenly I have something I want more than I've ever wanted anything.
I shouldn't be surprised when it doesn't turn out that simple. Is my luck just getting started, or has it finally run out?
Lost Mountain Fire & Rescue is a series of short romances about sexy firefighters, beautiful scenery, small-town warmth, and happily ever afters. Clarke is the second book in the series, but don't worry, this is a standalone romance complete with HEA and NO cliffhangers!

I'm a journalist who knows how to keep her distance from her subject. At least, I always did before I wound up in this lost little mountain county.
I'm doing a story on the fire department, and that puts me in the charge of the battalion commander. The more I get to know him the more I see that his rugged hero charm is the farthest thing from an act.
Falling for him is the last thing I can afford to do.
But it's starting to happen anyway.
I'd fight my way through hell for my brothers at the fire station. That's why I agreed to play chaperone and keep this reporter off their backs. It's my job to protect them.
But the minute we meet, I know I'm in trouble.
She has a body I can't ignore. Her smile is a mystery I have to solve. When I look in her eyes, I just want to know what makes her tick.
We're stuck together for two days, and I have no idea how I'm going to make it through.
